The Generative Learning.
• This style of learning encourages a learner and team creativity,
resulting in a new way of viewing old methods.
• is a style of learning that incorporates existing knowledge with new
ideas based ion experimentation and open-mindedness.
• In generative learning, we have active learners who attend to learning
events and generate meaning of this experiences.
Generative Learning Activities
• Must provide the students with an opportunity to mentally "play with"
information to create a personal understanding of the subject to be
learned.
Examples:
• Writing paragraph summaries
• Developing question and answer
• Drawing pictures
• Creating paragraph titles
• Organizing Ideas/concepts
Meaningful Learning
• Occurs when complex ideas and information are combined with students
own experiences and prior knowledge to form personal and unique
understandings.

Meaningful Learning in the context of Computers
• Broadens our prior knowledge
• Has easy access to new ideas
• Can share personal knowledge to other people easily (e.g. through
EMAIL, Social Media, BLOG)
Discovery Learning
• Is a technique of inquiry-based instruction and is considered a
constructivist based approach to education.
AIMS:

Constructivism Learning
• As perspective in education, is based on experiential learning through
real life experience to construct and conditionalize knowledge.
