• is a style of learning that incorporates existing knowledge with new ideas based ion experimentation and open-mindedness. 
• In generative learning, we have active learners who attend to learning events and generate meaning of this experiences. Generative Learning Activities
 • Must provide the students with an opportunity to mentally "play with" information to create a personal understanding of the subject to be learned.

• Writing paragraph summaries 
• Developing question and answer 
• Drawing pictures 
• Creating paragraph titles 
• Organizing Ideas/concepts Meaningful Learning
 • Occurs when complex ideas and information are combined with students own experiences and prior knowledge to form personal and unique understandings.

• Is a technique of inquiry-based instruction and is considered a constructivist based approach to education.
